Microsoft Azure has data centers in more than 140 countries. Thus, international customers' data and workloads can always be placed in a data center close to your company ensuring the shortest possible response time.
You can move applications to the same physical location and reduce latency regardless of location. With 'proximity placement group' you can even ensure that Azure VMs are not just placed in the same region, but in the same data center.

Scalability

In Azure, you create VMs using templates and scale via Azure Scale Sets, which are built from up to 100 identical VMs. This means that your applications are delivered with high availability. And you can manage, configure, and update numerous VMs at once.
