Network and firewall

We have flexible solutions, no matter what you and your customers prefer. See the possibilities.

Shared, virtual, or physical firewall? MPLS or SDN?

You may have specific requirements for firewall, network, and security when connecting to our data center.

No matter what you and your customers prefer, you have several options at Cloud Factory. Take a look below or contact us, if you need our advice.

5 ways to connect to our data center

1. Fortigate Firewall Cluster

Virtual Domain (VDOM) with SSL-VPN and 10Gbit link. Easy to manage and possibility for several customers per VDOM.

2. The customer's virtual firewall

Cloud Factory offers a small server for a virtual firewall of the partner's or customer's choice. Here, the customer is responsible for licenses and service.

3. Customer's physical firewall

For larger enterprise solutions, Cloud Factory offers the reseller or end customer to install a physical firewall at our location.

4. MPLS - Multiprotocol Label Switching

To get lower latency, the customer can install a direct MPLS access at our location through an optional internet service provider (ISP).

5. Microsoft Software-Defined Network (SDN)

One last option is SDN, which is based on Azure technology.

Disaster recovery secures customers' IT environment

Our data center is protected with disaster recovery (DRaaS). That way, we can quickly recreate customers' IT environment in the cloud if disaster strikes.

We generate full backups of all data at the datacenter every two hours. Data is stored in a secondary location for 30 days, ensuring that we always have the opportunity to roll back all or part of the customers' platform.
